Privacy policy
Effective 3 September 2026. Last updated 3 September 2026.
This policy describes how 16953000 Canada Inc., operating as Dosogne (“Dosogne”, “we”), handles personal information collected through dosogne.com. We are subject to Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and Québec’s Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (as modernized by Law 25).
1. Person responsible
The person responsible for the protection of personal information can be reached at info@dosogne.com. If we cannot resolve a complaint, you may write to the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec or the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
2. What we collect
When you visit this site, our hosting provider may record:
- pages requested, date and time, and a truncated technical log (IP, user-agent) used for security and abuse prevention;
- no advertising cookies, pixels, or marketing trackers are installed by Dosogne on this site.
When you send an RFQ or a message through the form, we collect:
- company name, your name, work email, phone if provided, city/province, product interest, and your message;
- the language of the page you used (English or French).
Drawings you email to info@dosogne.com are treated as business records of a commercial inquiry. Do not send personal information that is not needed to quote the work.
3. Why we collect it
- to respond to requests for quotation and technical questions;
- to match drawings to the company that sent them;
- to keep a record of commercial correspondence;
- to secure the site and prevent spam.
The legal bases we rely on are the performance of a request you initiate, our legitimate commercial interest in answering it, and, where required, your consent.
4. Sharing
We do not sell personal information. Hosting is provided by Vercel. When email delivery is connected, submissions will be sent to info@dosogne.com through that provider (intended: Resend). Those processors act on our instructions. OEM drawings are not used as marketing samples.
5. Retention
RFQ records are kept for as long as needed to handle the inquiry and for a reasonable commercial archive, then deleted or archived with access limited to people who need them. Server logs are kept only as long as the host retains them for operations and security.
6. Transfers
Our host and future email provider may process data in Canada or in another jurisdiction with comparable contractual safeguards. By using the form you understand that a message sent to us will leave your browser and be stored so we can answer it.
7. Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you, and you may withdraw consent for optional uses, subject to applicable law and records we must keep. Write to info@dosogne.com. We will respond within the delays required by Québec law.
8. Security
We use HTTPS and restrict access to the inbox that receives RFQs. No method of transmission is perfectly secure. Do not put passwords or card numbers in the form.
9. Children
This site is for business buyers. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
10. Changes
If this policy changes in a material way, we will update the date above. Continued use of the site after that date constitutes notice of the revised policy.
